Got very addicted to Facebook and wrote everything there instead of my own web blog! Just wanna write a little something here for the last time in year 2010. Some of my friends are on their holiday for countdown to year 2011 and some are gonna be celebrating in Bangkok. As for me, I’ll be in Bangkok. I don’t really like traveling during holiday season simply because it’s too crowded. Although now that most of my friends are not here, I kinda wish I was somewhere but not BKK! smilies

I spent Christmas eve and Christmas day partying like a rock star(24th -DJ Nakadia at Glow, 25th DJ Charly T+Tech12+Hydro at Xperience Club) and I had a Christmas dinner with my beloved ones at Novotel Siam Square on the 27th. We also went to see Tron Legacy in Imax 3D at Paragon cineplex. The movie itself is not as bad as I thought it would be. Thought it was gonna be some sorta big budget hollywood crap but it’s pretty decent actually. The only thing was that I got annoyed by ‘the atmosphere’, you know what I mean by that!

Got a big brand new LED monitor and a new mouse for a surprise, my santa is a gadgets freak what can I say!
He said he also gonna get me something that’s more for girls too, well…we’ll see! Haha! smilies

I had such  a great time for my Bday dinner and party this year. I decided to have a quiet dinner with my bf and a few of my close friends on my actual birthday which is on the 5th of March at a restaurant called Hidden-Stuff@Ekkamai. Great food, great people and very nice atmospheres. I’ve got my favorite Strawberry Milk Cake from Something Sweet Bakery. My bf also surprised me with the greatest birthday gift ever Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W380 with A cute little tripod!!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE them! smilies My BFF Tuck also got me a gorgeous candle stand she knows I’m a fan of candles and aromatherapy stuff! smilies

On the 6th was my Bday dinner & party with all my fav party animals! Hehe! smilies We started off the night at Tigersleepeat เสือนอนกิน restaurant then some of us headed to NARZ club for some fun. I had a really fantastic time with you guys! Thanks everyone who came to my Bday dinner and party, much appreciated! Special thanks to Cherie, Darren, Jay, Arik, Jan and Adam for throwing in bottles of Vodka and Whiskey also taking care of the mixers for me. Thanks for all the presents, I just opened them this morning and I love everything! You guys made my day! I will upload photos here as soon as I finish resizing them!

This year my friends and I went to Loy Krathong at the same place as the year before which was at Benjasiri Park next to The Emporium shopping mall, BTS Promphong. We arrived there at around 8 pm, bought the krathongs which was selling right in front of the park. We didn’t get to make a krathong this year because I moved out of the city so it was a bit difficult for my friends to get to my place to make it together. The park was packed as every year when we were walking down to the pond. We made a wish and floated our krathongs away, then we ended our night at Soi Food(street food block) around Thong Lor areas for some late night meals.

If you don’t know about Loy Krathong festival, here is the meaning of it…

Loy Krathong is held on the full moon of the 12th month in the traditional Thai lunar calendar. In the western calendar this usually falls in November.

“Loy” means “to float”. “Krathong” is a raft about a handspan in diameter traditionally made from a section of banana tree trunk (although modern-day versions use specially made bread ‘flowers’ and may use styrofoam), decorated with elaborately-folded banana leaves, flowers, candles, incense sticks etc. During the night of the full moon, many people will release a small raft like this on a river. Governmental offices, corporations and other organizations also build much bigger and more elaborate rafts, and these are often judged in contests. In addition, fireworks and beauty contests take place during the festival.

This party was hosted by Emmy, my gorgeous friend! The revenue by selling entry tickets and drinks went to Tab-Sa-Wai school(where Emmy used to study) located in Nakhonratchasima province, Thailand. It was for underprivileged children to assist in scholarship, meals, books and playground.

I had a great time with my friends. We enjoyed the music by DJ AJ(hiphop) and heated up the night later on with DJ G-Rom(minimal – tech house).

In case you tried to figure out what look I tried to archieve, I was Lady Gaga! I love my make-up with a black thunder bolt! Thanks for those video tutorials on Youtube.com! I won the sexiest costume of the night, my reward was a bottle of Jacks Daniel along with other stuff. Although I didn’t receive any of those things, i guess someone had stolen them!  :shock: :x

I had a really great time with my friends though. We started our night at Det5, Sukhumvit soi 8 for photo shooting and warm up drinks for a few hours then we headed to Glow, Sukhumvit 23 for a creepy dancing! :lol: We ended our night at a rice soup place around Thong lor before we went home.
